Here’s a quick guide for a cake up to 20 cm tall (8 inches max height):

🟢 Up to 9 cm / 3.5 inch diameter → 1 sheet

🟢 Up to 18 cm / 7 inch diameter → 2 sheets

🟢 Up to 27 cm / 10.5 inch diameter → 3 sheets

🟢 Up to 36 cm / 14 inch diameter → 4 sheets

If your cake is taller than 8 inches, this will need to be taken into account and may require additional sheets.
