Cake Topper Guide

For icing sheet toppers, carefully remove the topper from the backing sheet before applying. If it does not release easily, place it in the freezer for 30–60 seconds, then try again.

Apply the topper to a smooth, dry cake surface shortly before serving. It can be placed directly onto fondant or a firm layer of buttercream. Avoid applying it to wet cream, fresh cream or very moist toppings, as excess moisture may affect the print.

Wafer card toppers do not have a backing sheet. Place them directly onto the cake and secure with a very small amount of edible glue or icing if required.

For the best result, handle the topper with clean, dry hands and keep it away from water.

Icing Sheets

Ingredients: starch, maltodextrin, sugar, glycerine (E422), sugar, water, glucose, vanilla, food colour (E171), thickeners (E460i, E414), acidity regulator (E330) and preservative (E202).

The manufacturer states that no allergens are present. The icing sheets are vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free and nut-free.

Wafer Card

Ingredients: potato starch, water, sunflower oil, emulsifier (lecithin) and maltodextrin.

The supplier states that the wafer card is suitable for vegans and is produced without the allergens listed in its current product specification.

Your edible cake topper will be sealed in food-safe packaging and packed flat to help protect it during delivery.

Keep the topper sealed in its original packaging until you are ready to use it. Store it flat in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. Do not refrigerate or freeze it for storage.

Icing sheet toppers should remain sealed to prevent them from drying out. Wafer card should also be kept flat and dry to reduce the risk of curling.

When stored correctly and left unopened, the topper can be kept for up to six months. Please check the best-before information supplied with your order.

For the best appearance, apply the topper to the cake shortly before the celebration.
